End of Trail is what happens when you mix our typical Indie Rock sound with a Western flavor. Every song describes a new perspective on making bad choices, fully aware of the mistakes being made. Or, put another way, we're searching for our fool's gold.

Verse 1:
I can't admit, I can't resist
The kind of love that's counterfeit
I'm lost again, I'm lost again
Looking like a shining star
Hides the shadow that you really are
Again, in the dark again
Chorus 1:
So you can
Find me down by the railroad track
Searching for something I never had
As the
sun goes down and my heart grows cold
Still searching for my fool's gold
Verse 2:
Impatient, meek, and gullible
Missed the warning on the label
Once again, I never win
And they say that love is blind
Can you look me in the eye
What do you see, is it anything?
Chorus 2:
So you can
Find me down by the railroad track
Searching for something I never had
As the
sun goes down and my heart grows cold
Just searching for my fool's gold
Bridge:
So you can
Find me down by the railroad track
Searching for something I never had
You can
Find me down by the railroad track
Searching for something I never had
Chorus 3:
You can
Find me down by the railroad track
Searching for something I never had
As the
sun goes down and my heart grows cold
Just searching for my fool's gold
Lyrics v
Verse 1:
Some people stay the night just to disappear before the sunrise
They call it home, then tear it down to the stud and bone
I'll put your name onto this life-long list, of people that I miss
Only left to recall, not be abandoned
Chorus 1:
It seems like the good things are gone too soon
A forgotten dream in an empty room
And when I wake up
There's nobody coming to save me
Just me and my selective memory
Verse 2:
I heard you sought forgiveness
From your god, not righting the wrong
And its left me cold, and feeling bitter
Bridge:
The days when we were close
When I loved you the most
So now you've gone
That's how I imagine your ghost
It still hurts like the first time
My best wasn't good enough
I'm still trying to define
This grief as the remnants of love
Chorus 2:
It seems like the good things are gone too soon
A forgotten dream in an empty room
And when I wake up
There's nobody coming to save me
Just me and my selective memory

Verse 1:
Doctor, can you give me some advice?
Should I drink straight from the bottle, or pour it over ice?
Oh doctor, I don't know wrong from right
My angels and my devils, go drinking Monday nights
Chorus 1:
I've got the symptoms of
A broken heart
Doctor can you ask me
When did this all start
Verse 2:
She plays Judas to my good intentions
She marks me with her lips, I lose all comprehension
My friends abandoned me without intervention
Oh doctor, could you please fill a prescription cause
Chorus 2:
I've got the symptoms of
A broken heart
Doctor can you ask me
When did this all start
Oh
Bridge:
Some nights I know that
I should stay home
But drinking at hers is
Better than drinking alone
Dream:
Some nights I dream that I'm on a plane
I punch my ticket travel far away
But halfway through, the engine's blown
And back down to the ground I'm flown
Cause she's pulling me
With her gravity
And she's filling me
With this apathy
Oh no, no-o-o-o
Outro:
Oh doctor
Have you nothing else to say?
Have you had no other patients
Who have turned out this way?
Oh doctor
Can you give me some advice
Should I cover up the bruises
Or show them to the light?
Lyrics v
Verse 1:
There's a story that I've been told
By those who claim to save my soul
With sacred promises of something holy
They revel in an eternal fury
Chorus A1:
What do I deserve?
What's the price I've earned? (and who are you to tell me)
What should I have learned?
What do I deserve?
Now
Verse 2:
But still I make the most out of my life
But still end up with more wrong than right
These broken promises and empty lies
Why can't I get just one more try?
Chorus A2:
What do I deserve?
What's the prize; I've burned?(and who are you to tell me)
What should I have learned
What do I deserve?
Bridge:
If I could
Forgive myself tonight
Bring the wrongs to light
But I can't help it
It's stuck in my head
Chorus B:
Give me one more second to wait
(I don't believe in heaven)
Im just another step away
(Why am I afraid of hell?)
Give me one more moment to wait
(I don't believe in heaven)
I'm just another mile away
(so why am I still afraid of hell?)
Outro:
If I could
Forget myself tonight
Maybe I could sleep tight
But I can't help it
It's stuck in my head
With all the things I've said
Its painted red
Am I stuck in my ways
Who says that I can't change
Lyrics v
Verse 1:
Are you lying in your field of flowers
Somewhere far from home
Under a blanket of the cosmos
Where we used to go
I wish that I could be there
But I'm caught down with work tonight
Am I really heading towards
A so-called better life
Chorus 1:
Stargazer
Stargazer, come home
Stargazer
Stargazer, come home
Verse 2:
You slipped out your parents' house
To the forest in the back
Being home is never easy
Memories get painted black
I wish that I could be there
(Now or never)
But I'm stuck down with life tonight
(Can't wait forever)
Don't know who I'm supposed to be
(For your)
Obligations, opportunity
Bridge 1:
I'm guilty of not being around
I'm guilty of not listening
Chorus 2:
Stargazer
Stargazer, come home
Stargazer
Stargazer, come home
Bridge 2:
The night when you slipped away
You slipped away, yeah
Slipped away
You slipped away,
Away, away, away
Chorus 3:
Stargazer
Stargazer, come home
Stargazer
Stargazer, come home
Outro:
Are you lying in your field of flowers?
Somewhere all alone
Dusk to dawn so many hours
Stargazer, come home
